Hi, my name is Jennifer Williams. I am a first year undergraduate student at the University of Michigan in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. My prospective major is Computer Science. On campus, I am a member of the Women in Science and Engineering Residential Program (WISE RP) and Girls in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (GEECS). In addition to these organizations, I am also part of the Undergraduate Research Opportunities program, where I am an undergraduate research assistant working in the Crowds +Â Machine (CROMA) lab under the advisement of Professor Walter Lasecki. My goal in the technology field is to promote education in this discipline as well as make technology accessible for everyone.

MHACKS 12 (HACKATHON) - SHOPTIMIZE PROJECT
I was a member of a four-person team creating an iOS app to increase efficiency in shopping by sorting inputted items by store location. I worked on the login/sign-up page layout and code, as well as connecting it to Google's Firebase database. For this project, I used the programming language Swift.
